Frequently asked questions
Can you make a hydraulic hose while I wait?
Yes. Most single assemblies are built in 15–30 minutes at our Fort Worth counter during business hours, including oddball thread conversions.
Do I need to know the part number of my hose?
No. Bring the failed assembly (or clear photos of both ends and the layline) and we'll identify the hose type, size, and fittings from it.
What pressure ratings can you build to?
From 1-wire return lines up through 6-spiral hose rated 5,000–6,000 psi working pressure, plus SPIR STAR ultra-high-pressure lines by quote.
Should I repair or replace a damaged hydraulic hose?
Hydraulic hose is never spliced or patched — a damaged hose is always replaced as a full assembly. That's an industry safety rule, not an upsell.
