EN 853 — European Braid Hose Family
EN 853 covers European wire-braid hydraulic hose: 1SN mirrors SAE 100R1AT and 2SN mirrors R2AT in construction and ratings. Laylines on imported machines cite EN 853 — the crimp and fitting logic is the same as their SAE twins.

Are European hoses metric-sized?
The bore follows the same dash/inch sizes; it's the fittings that are often metric or BSP. That's where our import-thread stock matters.
