SAE 100R13 — 6-Spiral 5,000 PSI — FAQs
When does R13 beat R12?
When the circuit runs above 4,000 psi or the bore is large — R13 holds 5,000 psi even at -32, where braid constructions have long since dropped off.
Can R13 be field-repaired?
Assemblies are replaced, not repaired — but we crimp R13 with interlock ends same-day, including flange heads for pump connections.
